Allan Cutler is well known as “The Whistleblower” after his involvement in the federal government sponsorship scandal. In 1996 he attempted to alert the government to the problems that were going on. He testified about this experience to both the Public Accounts Committee of the Government of Canada and to the Gomery Commission. He has testifies on the need for whistleblowing legislation to Parliamentary Committees.

He is an activist in promoting of an understanding of whistleblowing and is invited to speak out on this by the media – print, radio and television.

Very few people understand the “Whistleblower’s Dilemna”.  As a public service, Mr. Cutler volunteers considerable time advising and helping people on whistleblowing issues and problems.

Presently, he is extremely involved in the formation of a new, non-profit charitable organization that will be devoted to the creating a public awareness of whistleblowing and its value to society. This organization will also bring resources to help all working Canadians, whether they work in the public or private sector.
